Our technology
Our advanced dental technology helps us provide you with accurate diagnoses and treatment.
We like to stay on the cutting edge of technology in our practice, and from that perspective, I was I think the first dentist in Louisiana that was laser-certified by the World Clinical Laser Institute, which is a training institute out in California. We provide laser treatments for gum disease, do laser treatments for other kinds of endo-oral diseases, but we also use air abrasion technology to take care of small cavities. We have kids that come in that never end up getting a shot, and so we’re able to do small restorations on patients that become invisible, because they’re so small, because we found them at an early stage.
We use the DIAGNOdent to determine how deep a small cavity is, so we know where we’re going. We use cancer screening technology with certain cameras in the mouth to make sure patients don’t have that type of disease process going on because that’s a scary thing. So, technology is an important part in any dentist’s situation, because it allows us to predictably find what needs to be done and solve problems in the most conservative fashion possible. Instead of waiting until it breaks, fix it before it breaks, and solve the problem before it becomes a painful issue.
- Digital x-rays
- Digital impressions
- CBCT (cone-beam computed technology) three-dimensional x-rays
- Intraoral cameras
If you’re anxious about dental appointments, we offer sedation dentistry using nitrous oxide or oral conscious sedation.
We invite you to schedule your first visit with us to see why we have many loyal patients, including entire families, who prefer Bayou Dental Group.
Everyone at Bayou Dental Group was very professional. Just two days after I contacted the office, I had my first appointment for a dental cleaning. And it wasn’t painful at all. I’m very impressed with how fast they get you in and out and how thorough the consultation was. – Renate G.
Our Monroe, LA dentist office was designed with you in mind. Rather than a clinical, intimidating building, we practice in a sunny, newly constructed building that feels welcoming and friendly.
