Did you know that 40% of people surveyed by the Academy of General Dentistry claim that the first thing they notice about a person is their smile? That puts a lot of pressure on you to have a smile that you’re proud of and want to show off to the world.
Did you also know that your smile conveys feelings of happiness, hope, and positivity to anyone who sees it? When you smile, you’re sending a powerful message to those around you that they’re accepted, welcome, and all is well.
No matter what it is about your smile that you’d like to change, we’re here to help! We offer several cosmetic procedures to make sure your pearly whites look just the way you want them to.
A porcelain veneer is a thin shell of porcelain that is permanently bonded to the front of a tooth. You can have a single tooth, several teeth, or your entire smile beautifully transformed.
The craftsmanship and bonding of veneers are vital to their esthetics and longevity. When you receive veneers from an artistic cosmetic dentist and master ceramist, it’s almost impossible to distinguish them from your natural teeth.
A simple cosmetic change like tooth whitening is easy and affordable but can make a big difference. Smoking and consuming certain foods and beverages can stain or discolor your teeth, detract from your smile and appearance, and affect your self-confidence.
We have two ways to whiten your teeth. Professional tooth whitening is the fastest way to boost your smile—and your confidence. For this, we offer Zoom! It’s our in-office whitening treatment that gives you a brilliant smile in about an hour.
Our other, more inexpensive option we offer is a take-home whitening kit. With this method, you can whiten your teeth from the comfort of your own home. We’ll take impressions of your teeth and make custom bleaching trays for you. You’ll also receive a whitening gel.
Each night you’ll put a small amount of bleaching gel in the trays and wear them for the specified time. After a few sessions, you’ll notice your smile getting progressively whiter. In just two weeks, your sparkling smile should be complete. If you want your teeth even whiter, you can continue treatment as directed. Periodic touchups will help you to maintain a bright, beautiful smile.
If you find yourself with chipped, discolored, or misshaped teeth, dental bonding can help to beautifully restore them. Dr. Finley and Dr. Henderson use this technique to seamlessly conceal small imperfections in your teeth.
Although dental bonding is time-consuming and costly for use on extensive corrections, it’s often used to conceal minor imperfections in teeth, including chips, small gaps, minor fractures, discoloration, or a misshape.
Finally, if you want to straighten your teeth without people noticing, Invisalign might be your answer. Virtually invisible braces are used to align your teeth with precision. A series of Invisalign aligners, made of medical-grade plastic, are customized for you. We design each set of aligners to precisely move your teeth to a new position.
We use Invisalign to correct a variety of imperfections in your smile, which include: crowded teeth, gaps, overbite, underbite, crossbite, or an open bite.
You’ll need to wear the aligners for 20 to 22 hours each day. Treatment time varies depending on the position of your teeth and your smile goals.
